in april last year rent a townhouse with zelri properties than i was told i must pay a deposit of R2000 with polokego for electricity account now zelri cancelled the contract with polokego and we were told to contact polokego for our deposits i called polokego than i was told that the account has not being transfered from polokego to protea metering, i was told i was a process of 3 weeks they contact me now, i contacted them after three weeks i was told that the person wqho is doing payments...

We have moved into our current house about 4 years ago. And from the beginning Dihlabeng municipality has made a hash up of our account and thus frequently disconnecting our power only to connect it again the next day. They refuse to accept that the error is on their side and keep on saying that we are responsible to sort it out. It has also happened that they disconnect our power when in actual fact it was suppose to be for someone close by.I have a small child and it is upsetting to him and...

Abaqulusi - AGAIN! Well done, you must be one of the worst in the country! No water in our village (outside main town - a minus to start with) and told when went off yesterday that a back ackter (however it's spelt) will come out next day to dig hole to begin mending broken pipe. Guess what? No sign of anything and it's over 24hrs! Yes, you are supplying a truck of water - from our own dam over the road, but if the machine does not arrive tomorrow, does this mean no water all weekend?...

i called the Municipality yesterday at 18h00 after i arrived at home and there was no lights and was given a reference number 617/22. I made numerious phone calls at which i had to hold for over 10minutes with no reply,and also was cut off a number of times yesterday. Please help as i have been calling and they keep on telling me that they will send someone to go and check even till now, nothing has been done.

We are living at the corner of Main Road/Duikker Street in HLUHLUWE and are very concerned about the high amount of trucks parking overnight in this area. In the last year the situation has become worse with about 50-70 trucks every week using MAIN ROAD from LOT 46 down to the water reservoir AND DUICKER STREET as parking and overnight stop. Corner of 8th Street and Waterval Road is a Fish & Chips Franchise. The delivery truck detroys the pavement by driving over the pavement as weel as the sorm-water drain. The storm water drain was replaced by the Municipality but the truck is still wrecking the pavement. I have taken photographs and I think the Fish & Chips Shop should pay for repairs as there are such a backlog and the Municipality can not take responsibility if we do not look after our suburb.

Sewerage from the main sewerage system overflows onto our private property in town. Best of all, this spillage is right next to our kitchen. This creates a health hazard and pollutes our river.The undesirable black water enters the storm water openings on the side of the street, and drains directly into the Valsriver that's running through Kroonstad. no water. again. last night we had no water. phoned the afterhours no and was informed that they sent someone out to start the pumps as the resovoir is empty and they forgot to start the pump. tonight is the same story. no water. no warning. last month was the same thing. the month before that we had 3 weeks with water off every afternoon untill the next morning. when you get home there is no water. cant was, do washing, clean, cook.... yet the municipality do nothing and are not interested...

I have tried unsuccessfully to get my refund for water and lights for the last six months. I sold my house in march,2011 and am still waiting for a resolution on account no:400098840.Incidentally,I was refunded for rates and taxes,accnt no:400098833 in october.I would have thought that the two accnts would have been put and paid together,but they put all kinds of problems in the way..I have been there 5 times and phoned at least 20 times

We live in Parys, Free State For the past year or more we have water on and off. On Saterday 27 October 2011 a water pipe burst just up the road. It is municipal water. I phoned but everyone at the municipality are on strike and refuse to fix the water pipe. Thousands of litres of water is flowing away.Even the Fire Brigade wont help. In front of my house there is a electric pole that is on the verge of falling over. Nobody wants to do something about that.
