on 08/05/2013 called techinical dept for the alarm not being activated when locking up premises spoke to Nicole ,she asked me to lock up at lunch time and let all my staff out and activate alarm and call her back . I phoned the dealership whom are conctracted under ADT as i still have my guarantee with them to come fix my alarm system on the 30th April i spoke to Lynette who promised to ask the technician to phone me which wasnt done. I then made a follow up with Lynette on friday 3 May were she promised to make sure that the technician phones me today which never happened. I sent an email to [Email Removed] on the 17/04/2013 instructing to cancel my contract with ADT, giving one month's notice. My 3-year contract expires on the 18/05/2013. I advised that without breaking contract - cancellation must be effective from end of May 2013. I also supplied my reason for cancelling (have become too expensive). Company was to fix: 1) 2 outdoor PIR sensors activating for know reason. 2) Siren not working After paying R790 there was no improvement, none of the above was repaired and in fact I now have a 'dead' sensor in the garage and the panic is activating for no reason. So actually the system is in worse condition than it was and it cost me R790.

we have logged a service call with adt to fix our alarm, the keep changing the appointment to suit them, and not to suite us as their customer, i have asked twice to speak to a technical manager, they are always in a meeting and dont even come back to you, the service from ADT technical serives is pathetic.

I have been with ADT for some years now and never had problems,but since I've relocated in Nov 2011 my problems started. If one does not pay, it's easy to be blacklisted and that's why I am keeping on paying, but service from ADT is definately not up to standard. For the past 16 months I did not have any armed responce from ADT, meaning that my alarm is not connected to their controll room at all. Sometime last week we reported a faulty alarm system to ADT Security. On 30 January 2013 an technician was sent to fix the problem. He replaced a set of three door contacts. We duly paid the required fee. The problem that was reported and allegedly fixed persists. On reporting the matter, I was told that we have to again wait in a queue, as if we were reporting the matter for the first time.
