Toyland Preschool Complaints - Horrifying and Unfair Service

My son was registered at Toyland Preschool and I removed him as he was constantly getting sick. After I removed him I was sent a letter from a Debt Collector a few weeks later indicating that I owed money which I was unaware of. I queried it as was told it was for a notice period. i requested to see the terms and conditions and was sent a page that I did not sign attached to another page I had signed agreeing to be the fee payer. I then contacted the school on instruction of the Debt Collector and indicated that I did not sign the terms and conditions sent and that I was not given any notice in writing (which is required by law) before being handed over to the Debt Collector. I received a harsh response indicating that I did sign the terms and condtions (even tho I did not) and that I must pay or else myself and my family will be blacklisted. Miraculously the next day the DC, had a letter in their possession that was apparently posted tome, but they could not provide the same letter when I first enquired. I got onto this website after viewing a comment by PIXEY and decided to air my views. Hygiene at the creche must be a problem if kids are always getting sick. My son was 16 months old when he was hurt on the eye where his skin was removed. I was told that he was left in the care of caregivers as the teachers were gone home and that him and another child were fighting over a toy cellphone. The extent of his injury was so bad, it took a week to clear up. The owner Janine van de Venter implied in an sms to me that I was overeacting. Also he cam home on two occasions with writing on his body made with a pen. I enquired with the owner as the kids should not have pens with them and further to that the spelling of his name was correct and I did not think that another child would be able to spell his name. She told me she would enquire and I got no response. I wont advise any parent to register their child at Toyland Preschool. I hope this post serves as a warning to any parent who is considering this establishment

The mother was unreasonable often smsing me over weekends and up till 10pm at night. This mother sent us notice on the last day of the month and expected to not pay for the coming month. It is clearly written in our contract which she signed that we require a full months notice or one months fees in lieu of notice. She in fact wrote us a flattering email telling us how...
